Google Workspace: remove the "unverified app" warning

When you connect Google Workspace to Moral Fabric, Google may show a screen that says "Google hasn't verified this app". A Google Workspace super admin can remove it for your whole organisation by marking Moral Fabric as trusted. It takes about two minutes.

Why Google shows the warning

Moral Fabric reads your user directory, your admin audit log and your Drive. Google counts that as sensitive data, and it warns everyone who connects an app with this kind of access until Google has reviewed that app. If your admin marks the app as trusted, Google stops showing the warning to people in your organisation.

Mark Moral Fabric as trusted

Sign in to  admin.google.com  as a super admin.
Go to Security → Access and data control → API controls.
Under App access control, click Manage Third-Party App Access.
Click Configure new app and search by client ID: 775626216324-44oo25j6u87rl836n4pfe43sn3v7luo1.apps.googleusercontent.com
Select Moral Fabric, then pick your whole organisation (the top-level unit).
    Choose Trusted and click Configure.
The change can take up to an hour to apply.

Connect Google in Moral Fabric

In Moral Fabric, go to Settings → Integrations and connect Google Workspace. Use an admin account, because only admins can read the user directory and audit log.
